Geoffrey W. Griffiths, 76, of Cockeysville, Maryland, at peace on March 18, 2015.  Loving husband for more than 53 years of Barbara Griffiths, father to Trevor N. (Andrea) and Allison Griffiths, grandfather of Tyler and Max Griffiths, brother of Trevor R. (Kathy) Griffiths, uncle of David (Natalie) Griffiths, and Sara (Harry) Charalambous, and Great Uncle of Zac Charalambous.

Treasured Motor Cars BMW Fiat Aston Martin Lotus Peugeot Renault 9Geoffrey came to the USA from Birmingham, England in the late 1950s to assist with establishing the North American distribution for Lucas Industries.  He took his marketing efforts to pit lane, traveling to race tracks under the Lucas banner with assorted Lucas parts and advice to share with fellow racers.

He quickly developed a reputation as a fine racing mechanic and consultant.  After his retirement from Lucas in 1972, he continued his professional career with other automotive specialties, including Beltway Imported Auto Parts.

Throughout his career, Geoffrey was well respected among enthusiasts of fine European and American classic automobiles. His passion for interesting vintage sports cars evolved into Treasured Motorcar Services, where more than 30 years later, Geoffrey’s work is proudly continued by the Griffiths Family.

A Celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2015, from 12pm to 4pm at Treasured Motorcar Services, 12340 Owings Mills Blvd, Reisterstown, Maryland.
