How long have you been in business, and where are you located?

Treasured Motorcar Services has been in business since 1980. We are located in New Freedom, PA.

Can you provide service on my high end collector car as well as my daily driver?

Daily driver, concours exotic or anything in-between, we are here to keep your vehicle on the road and running smoothly.

Do you offer cars for sale?

No . . . But we do offer pre-purchase inspections on vehicles anywhere in the world.

How often should I have my car serviced?

If you have an older car, service should be performed every 3,000 miles or every two years, whichever comes first. The newer manufacturer guidelines suggest anywhere between 5,000 and 15,000. WE DO NOT SUGGEST THIS. We recommend service every 5,000 miles so the vehicle is monitored for any potential issues.

What warranty do you offer on parts and labor?

Warranty as granted by the manufacturer. Usually twelve months/twelve thousand miles on most services and parts.

What if I do not see my car’s logo on the Services page?

We would still be happy to service your car.

Where do you get your parts?

Treasured Motorcars has an extensive supply network for new and (when necessary) good used parts. Fabrication is always an option when a part is unobtainable.

Have you always been at this location?

Our business operated for its first two years out of Geoffrey and Barbara’s home garage, for 36 years in Reisterstown, MD, and now resides in New Freedom, PA.

Tell me about your staff.

In the shop, we have five full-time mechanics with over 100 years of combined experience working on a variety of vehicles. With the addition of the restoration facility, we have four additional full-time body tech/painters with over 50 years of experience. Each has their specialty, but all work closely together to complete our many ongoing projects.

How did Geoffrey and Barbara meet?

Geoffrey and Barbara met at a foreign car service garage in California in 1957, both driving MGAs.

Tell me about Allison.

After growing up around vintage and exotic cars, Allison ventured out into the world and pursued careers in Marketing and Law Enforcement. After owning/operating a vehicle transport company for several years, she returned to her original passion and took over the family business.

Does the “defective gene” for car addiction run in the family?

Geoffrey and Barbara passed on the genes to both of their children, Trevor and Allison. Trevor raced SCCA and vintage cars for many years and currently works independently in Pennsylvania. Allison is continuing the family business and enthusiasm. The “defective car gene” appears to run in all of our staff’s families.

What cars do staff members own and drive?

ALLISON enjoys driving her 1956 Wolseley 15/50, 1962 Austin Cambridge Estate and 2017 Ford Mustang.

GREG owns several antique and collectible cars and regularly drives one or two per week. His current favorites are a ‘56 Chevy, ‘76 Firebird, and ‘82 CJ7 Jeep.

BRUCE has a selection of American classics – his mood dictates his choice.

STEVE 2000 Chevrolet 2500 and 1979 Harley Davidson Shovelhead

SCOTT is working on his 1931 Ford Model A Pickup and drives a 2011 Ford F250 and 2007 Ford Mustang

Who is the resident pooch?

Since Quanto’s passing in 2015, there has not been a resident pooch.

Certain dealers are changing or eliminating service on certain makes.

Modern vehicles are more than welcome at Treasured Motorcars. This includes Lotus, Bentley, Aston Martin, Rolls Royce, Alfa Romeo, Mini, Jaguar, Land Rover, Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati and performance/sport models from Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge and Ford.
