How did Geoffrey and Barbara meet?
In California, in a garage in 1957, both driving MGAs.
Have you always been at this location?
The first two years were in the garage at the house and over 30 years at our current location.
Does the “defective gene” for car addiction run in the family?
Geoffrey and Barbara passed on the genes to both of their children, Trevor and Allison. Trevor raced SCCA and vintage cars for many years and currently works on Land Rovers in Pennsylvania and teaches off-roading. Allison is continuing the family business/obsession.
Tell me about Allison.
After growing up with vintage and exotic cars, Allison had to go out into the world. Following years of Marketing, Law Enforcement and owning/operating a vehicle transport company, she finally returned to her original passion.
Tell me about your Service Manager.
Jim Booth worked for Treasured Motorcars in the early eighties. He went off “to see the world”. He returned with his vast knowledge, wisdom and expertise, rejoining us in 2007.
Tell me about your staff.
In the shop, we have four full time mechanics with over 100 years of experience working on your vehicle. Each mechanic has their speciality while working closely together.
Who is the resident pooch?
Quanto is a mature German Shephard...big but gentle and friendly.
Do you offer cars for sale?
TMS is not a dealer. We do keep a list and are happy to facilitate. Give us a call for wants and sells.
